This exclusive candle is the result of a masterful combination of handmade Limoges porcelain and delicately perfumed wax. Inspired by the 19th century: the motifs of the container are based on the panoramic wallpaper “Paris monuments” from 1812, its scent is reminiscent of an old library and the name Le Spleen de Paris pays homage to the 1855 collection of prose poems by Charles Baudelaire of the same name. This candle is a tribute to Parisian melancholy, literary elegance and the atmosphere of ancient interiors.

The porcelain container is hand-painted, decorated with gold foil typography and complemented by a solid brass handle, which adds both elegance and practicality to the entire artifact. Like the other candles in the collection, the container is designed to be refillable and serve as a decorative object for many years.

The porcelain comes from Limoges and the perfumed wax is handmade in Provence, creating an authentic French product combining tradition, aesthetics and precise craftsmanship.

The scent of the candle is woody, sensual and slightly nostalgic: notes of leather and tobacco blend with the scent of old wood , evoking the atmosphere of a Parisian library, a crackling fireplace, polished parquet floors and volumes of antique books. To maintain perfect functionality and appearance, it is recommended not to let the candle burn for more than two hours at a time. After it goes out, straighten the wick and shorten it to 5 mm. After the wax has completely burned out, pour hot water over the container, remove any wax residue and dry. Polish the brass handle regularly with a soft cloth to maintain its natural shine.
