The glass is made from cased colored crystal and adorned with tiny, precisely cut lenses on the surface, which create an impressive optical effect, depth, and a unique play of light. Traditional glassmaking techniques of cased glass are used in its production. First, the glassblower gathers a layer of clear crystal onto the pipe, then applies a layer of colored glass. After blowing and cooling, the prepared piece goes into the hands of experienced cutters, who meticulously cut the tiny lens decor until the clear crystal reappears on the surface. This process highlights the depth of color and the brilliance of the cut.

Behind this exceptional work stands the traditional German glassworks Theresienthal, which has been one of the most respected manufacturers of hand-cut crystal in Europe since the 19th century. Each piece passes through the hands of experienced glassblowers and cutters, who continue a long-standing craft tradition and pay attention to every detail.
