The glass is made from cased colored crystal and adorned with tiny, precisely cut lenses on its surface, creating an impressive optical effect, depth, and a unique play of light. The traditional glassmaking technique of cased glass is used in its production. First, the glassmaker gathers a layer of clear crystal onto the blowpipe, then applies a layer of colored glass. After blowing and cooling, the prepared piece goes into the hands of experienced cutters, who meticulously cut the decor of tiny lenses until the clear crystal reappears on the surface. This process highlights both the depth of color and the brilliance of the cut.

Behind this exceptional work stands the traditional German glass manufactory Theresienthal, which has been one of the most acclaimed producers of hand-cut crystal in Europe since the 19th century. Each piece passes through the hands of experienced glassmakers and cutters who build upon a long-standing artisanal tradition and pay attention to every detail.
