The designer glass aroma diffuser by young Czech artist František Jungvirt belongs to the TOY collection. The Toy collection consists of smaller objects that, with their shape and positive, saturated colors, evoke a child's toy and evoke a feeling of carefreeness that belongs to childhood.

The diffusers are hand-blown into a wooden mold from rare alexandrite, aquamarine, uranium or eldor glass. The unique subtle color transition in the glass is caused by so-called coloring glass rubies, which are wrapped around the basic glass bulb while hot.

The exact color, its saturation and distribution across the surface is unique for each vase. Each piece is blown separately and its final appearance is therefore different every time!

TOY indirectly follows on from the Wavy, Trifid, Lentil and Trdlík collections. It is also connected to the last-named by the production technique, the new vases are created by lifting the glass and hand-blowing it into a wooden mold. The base is crystal glass. The color transitions are achieved using coloring glass rubies, which are heat-wrapped onto the flask. Finally, polishing comes. Each piece is made separately, so the final appearance is slightly different each time. The color shade, saturation and distribution over the surface are unique for each piece.

" Compared to my other vases, TOY is significantly smaller. When designing it, I was inspired by children's toys, which is why I chose bold colors and rounded shapes - it may remind some of a spinning top. I also wanted it to look decent in the interior, but at the same time playful and cute. The owner can also 'win' with the object - it's up to them whether they will enjoy it on its own or use it as a vase or diffuser, " says František

FRANTIŠEK JUNGVIRT is a young glass artist, designer and glass painter. František Jungvirt is a student at the Prague UMPRUM in the glass studio under the leadership of Rony Plesl. In his work, he most often returns to the most classic traditions of Czech glassmaking, which he combines with new impulses. In his works, he tries to push the technical and visual boundaries of the field. František comes from Vimperk. His grandfather also cut glass in the local glassworks.
