Tin Valentinitsch's new creation for Wiener Silber Manufactur places an original emphasis on the production of contemporary design. He was inspired by the hairstyles of Viennese ladies in the Biedermeier style, whose main adornments were long curls.

The wall of the bowl is made up of 24 curls in their original size. Their harmony is the result of masterful workmanship - and a lot of patience. The domed base looks like a convex mirror. It evokes an endless play of repeating reflections.

Wiener Silber Manufactur was founded in 1882 by Viennese goldsmith and silversmith Alexander Sturm. Originally producing silver dinner and serving sets for the Habsburg king, the Wiener Silber Manufactur was later influenced by the early modernists, earning the respect of Vienna's intellectual elite. Today, using time-tested techniques, it hand-crafts silver cutlery, bowls, vases and much more.
