SONJA QUANDT champagne glass PASSION - 150g exclusive silver plating
A silver champagne glass called a coupé, or cup or bowl. The wide chalice allows the wine to express itself better and you can enjoy its delicate taste in full sips. These wide glasses were created in England specifically for serving champagne in the 17th century.
This silver cup is handmade in Germany, in the silversmith's workshop Sonja Quandt . The cup is hammered using the so-called hammer technique, i.e. by hand beating with a hammer. It is made of alpaca and silver-plated with a very thick layer of silver. The Sonja Quandt manufactory uses 150g solid silver-plating - unlike other manufacturers who only offer 90g silver-plating.
The glasses make a wonderful wedding or birthday gift. The glasses are also available in sterling silver .
You can also use a polishing cloth or polishing gloves for a gentle polish.
