A delicate stoneware vase, cast in a plaster mold with a crystalline glaze. The design combines traditional techniques with delicate shapes.

During firing, a crystalline glaze is created as a "defect", whereby zinc crystals are cultivated on the surface at certain temperatures. These zinc formations are allowed to bloom into various shapes and colors, creating the original surface of each vase.

All glazes are prepared and mixed from crushed minerals and metal preparations according to traditional recipes.

Fruits of Erlan is a design studio in the heart of Prague. It is dedicated to the production of ceramic objects. With knowledge of traditional techniques, processes and recipes, their artists prepare glazes in the ceramic laboratory and discover their own possibilities and desires.

Fascinated by the mineral mystery, they create beautiful ceramic vessels. Each piece is original and has its own specifics, which are the result of handwork and the unpredictability of ceramic processes.
