Limac Design – CLEXI Designer Leather Laundry Hamper
The CLEXI laundry hamper is an exceptional design object that, at first glance, resembles sculptural folded origami. Its shape evokes an hourglass and functions as an elegant side table that naturally fits into a bathroom, bedroom, or dressing room. The upper leather lid with its ingenious opening conceals an inner space with a cotton laundry bag. CLEXI thus perfectly combines aesthetics, functionality, and thoughtful detail into one luxurious whole.
This model was created in collaboration with Studio Nove.3 Designers and is handcrafted by Italian master artisans. The internal structure is made of black powder-coated metal, and the base is a solid lacquered plywood. The entire surface is covered with prestigious cuoietto leather, which is hand-stitched and gives the hamper extraordinary strength and a sophisticated look. The lid is entirely leather and features an innovative opening system.
