The low Japanese table from the French brand K3 is not just for fans of Asian style. It is a beautiful accessory and a very practical servant in a demanding interior. Its shape resembles a tea table from a Japanese room.
The table is hand-lacquered in matte black. The central design is an irregular gold line, the so-called kintsugi pattern. Kintsugi is a Japanese artistic technique applied to broken pottery. The damaged part is repaired with lacquer sprinkled or mixed with powdered gold, silver or platinum. The philosophy of kintsugi is to consider the damage and necessary repair of an object as part of its history rather than something worth hiding.
