Oto(wo)man is not just a couch. It is a concept, a statement, and at the same time a playful design installation that blurs the boundaries between furniture and art. The black velvet seat in contrast with the grey back panel creates an elegant base, which, however, carries a strong intellectual message and visual originality.

Designed as a "throne" for a big man, Oto(wo)man playfully and intelligently reflects the relationship between men and women, their roles, and mutual dynamics. The higher seating promotes a sense of dignity and comfort, while the entire object encourages reflection on balance, respect, and cooperation.

A completely unique element is the front legs of the couch - sculptural supports in the form of female figures. These were created in collaboration with Matyáš Chochola, Helena Dařbujánová's son and a recipient of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award. A total of 6 legs are designed. Each figure represents a different archetype of a woman - from a yogi to a mermaid to a sphinx or Nike - and together they create a playful, symbolic, and artistically powerful composition. The selection of specific "bearers" thus gives each piece a personal dimension.

Oto(wo)man is both provocative and poetic at the same time – an object that opens dialogue, but above all celebrates a relationship based on love, respect, and mutual understanding.
