The French faïencerie GIEN was founded in the beautiful Loire Valley by the Englishman Thomas Hall in 1821. It is currently one of the most respected brands in France and has become part of the most luxurious department stores.

Manufactured exclusively in France, it still benefits from historical designs. Almost 2 centuries of traditional techniques have brought worldwide success. They are synonymous with excellence, apparent casualness and unique style. Each piece produced passes through the hands of 30 different master craftsmen and artists. The clay paste, plaster casts and glazes are designed and created according to traditional recipes, which are still one of the most closely guarded secrets today.
