The BONBORI outdoor lighting collection was designed for BROKIS by world-renowned Japanese designer Fumie Shibata . The Bonbori outdoor floor lamp is inspired by the traditional paper lanterns that line the paths to shrines and temples during annual festivals based on the rice growing cycle. The name BONBORI comes not only from the Japanese traditional lamp "bonbori", but also means the soft light that emanates from inside snowy caves.

The Bonbori collection pays homage to the traditional Japanese lantern and, thanks to hand-blown glass and the skill of glassmakers, depicts a picturesque scenery of dim, soft light, allowing you to enjoy the magic of a celebratory atmosphere at night in the garden or terrace.

The designer outdoor floor lamp BONBORI meets the safety and technological requirements of IP44 for outdoor lighting . The simple design of the designer outdoor floor lamp made of stainless steel is surface-treated with environmentally friendly powder coating and ensures first-class resistance to external influences of the outdoor environment. The easily removable LED light source, which can withstand even below freezing , casts a soft glow through the diffuser and holes cut by laser in the stainless steel.

The glass shade of the BONBORI designer outdoor floor lamp is formed in several layers of glass, each of which is blown into the mold with special attention by glass masters. The glass type is available in opaline and opal, while the metal base is available in black matt, copper metallic matt and grey matt.

The designer outdoor floor lamp BONBORI is designed for connection via underground wiring . The designer outdoor floor lamp is not equipped with a cable with a plug and cannot be plugged into a socket.

The technological processes used are based on centuries of tradition and experience of glass masters. Precise craftsmanship of hand-blown glass gives BROKIS products a distinctive and irreplaceable character and unique quality. Glass shades are formed in several layers of glass, each of which is given special attention by glass masters before being blown into shape.

This stage of production determines up to 70% of the final quality. The triplex opal glass from which the lampshade is made is one of the highest quality materials used in lighting technology. The sandwich combination of two outer transparent layers of crystal and an inner layer of white opal between them, as well as meticulously guarded manual production processes, give the glass excellent optical properties.
