The Colchique collection is available with a polished 18/10 stainless steel blade or in a luxurious silver-plated finish, allowing the collection to be adapted to both modern and classic table settings. The decorative ferrule elegantly connects the handle to the cutlery blade and highlights the exceptional detail of the entire collection.

The massively forged 18/10 stainless steel blade represents the pinnacle of traditional French craftsmanship. Forging from a single piece of steel ensures exceptional strength, perfect balance, and long durability even with daily use. This manufacturing method also allows for precise definition of lines, finer detail, and significantly higher quality compared to commonly pressed cutlery. The surface is then hand-polished and finished in the spirit of traditional French orfèvrerie.

The handles are made of high-quality resin with a deep luster and sophisticated coloring. The Ténéré variant captivates with a delicate light tone inspired by the natural shades of sand and stone, while Gitane brings a more distinct, elegant blue hue with decorative depth. The smooth surface of the handles creates a luxurious contrast with the ornamental metal ferrule.

Alain Saint-Joanis Model Colchique is manufactured in the workshops of La Monnerie in France, and each piece undergoes hand-processing with the quality of traditional goldsmith craftsmanship. The collection is also suitable for washing in a dishwasher.
