Alain Saint-Joanis – The Ravel model is an elegant collection with a clean silhouette, built on proportion, quality materials, and subtly geometric details. The design has a timeless feel, while maintaining a warm character through the combination of metal, natural wood, or decorative resin structures.

The handle of the Ravel model has a simple and harmonious shape, but its surface is subtly faceted into six sides that elegantly catch the light, adding graphical depth to the collection. This detail creates a more refined look than classic smooth cutlery and highlights the precise craftsmanship of the entire collection.

The collection is available in four variants of genuine solid wood: rosewood with rich exotic grain, deep dark ebony, Mediterranean-inspired olive wood with a distinctive natural structure, and elegant light boxwood, prized for its fine texture and silky appearance. Each wood is authentic and unique in its grain and shade.

In addition to natural woods, the model is also available in two resin variants: a decor inspired by natural marble and a delicate powdery pink shade reminiscent of rose quartz. These variants give the collection a more modern and decorative character.

The massively forged heads of the 18/10 stainless steel cutlery represent the pinnacle of traditional French craftsmanship. Forging from a single piece of steel ensures exceptional strength, perfect balance, and long life even with daily use. This production method also allows for precise definition of lines, finer detail, and significantly higher quality compared to conventionally pressed cutlery. The surface is then hand-polished and finished in the spirit of traditional French orfèvrerie.

The Ravel model is available in a massively forged 18/10 stainless steel version or in a luxurious 33 µ silver-plated or gold-plated variant. The ferrules and end caps are made of 18/10 stainless steel, which elegantly contrasts with the decorative handle materials.

The cutlery is manufactured in the La Monnerie workshops in France, and each piece undergoes hand processing to the quality of traditional goldsmithing. The collection is also suitable for dishwashers.

The basic set includes a dinner fork, a dinner spoon, a dinner knife, and a teaspoon. Individual pieces or a complete service can also be ordered according to the manufacturer's original nomenclature.
