Alain Saint-Joanis – The Étoile model is an exceptionally decorative collection inspired by historical French orfèvrerie and richly decorated table settings of aristocratic residences. The name Étoile – "star" – perfectly captures the character of this collection, whose ornamental details create an elegant interplay of relief and silvery sheen.

The handle of the cutlery is adorned with stylized star ornaments that appear on both the upper and lower parts of the silhouette. Along the entire length of the handle, delicate relief dots are subtly distributed, creating a rich decorative structure and lending the collection an authentic historical character. The overall impression is noble, romantic, and almost museum-like – a reinterpretation of classic French table art.

The head of the cutlery is made of solid forged 18/10 stainless steel, which ensures high durability, strength, and longevity. The handles are crafted from silver-plated metal 33 µ, whose subtle sheen elegantly highlights the depth of the ornamental relief and precise handcraftsmanship.

The solid forged 18/10 stainless steel head of the cutlery represents the pinnacle of traditional French craftsmanship. Forging from a single piece of steel ensures exceptional strength, perfect balance, and a long lifespan even with daily use. This manufacturing method also allows for precise definition of lines, finer detail, and significantly higher quality compared to commonly pressed cutlery. The surface is then hand-polished and finished in the spirit of traditional French orfèvrerie.

The cutlery is manufactured in the La Monnerie workshops in France, and each piece undergoes hand-finishing to the quality of traditional French orfèvrerie. The collection is also suitable for dishwashers.

The basic set includes a dinner fork, a dinner spoon, a dinner knife, and a teaspoon. Individual pieces or complete services can also be supplied upon request, according to the Alain Saint-Joanis nomenclature.
