Alain Saint-Joanis – The Berlin model is a collection that combines classic ornamental elegance with the precision of French silversmithing. The design is richly decorative, aristocratic, and at the same time perfectly balanced, making it suitable for festive tables, historical interiors, and sophisticated contemporary dining.

The silhouette of the Berlin model is based on the elegant shape typical of the Prestige collections – the handle smoothly widens from a subtly narrower part into a wider decorative end. The lower part is adorned with a twisted cord detail, creating a subtle relief effect. This is followed by finely crafted floral ornaments inspired by classical European decorative aesthetics from the early last century.

The handle is finished with a characteristic round detail with a decorated cap, reminiscent of historical jewelry techniques and highlighting the noble character of the entire collection. The overall impression is exceptionally decorative, yet elegant and harmonious.

The solid forged head of the cutlery, made of 18/10 stainless steel, represents the pinnacle of traditional French craftsmanship. Forging from a single piece of steel ensures extraordinary strength, perfect balance, and long life, even with daily use. This method of production also allows for precise definition of lines, finer detail, and significantly higher quality compared to commonly pressed cutlery. The surface is then hand-polished and finished in the spirit of traditional French orfèvrerie.

The Berlin model is available with a head made of solid forged 18/10 stainless steel or in a luxurious 33 µ silver-plated finish. The ferrules and handles are made of silver-plated or gold-plated steel and perfectly highlight the detail of the ornamental relief and precise handwork.

The cutlery is manufactured in the workshops of La Monnerie in France, and each piece undergoes hand-finishing in the quality of traditional French orfèvrerie. The collection is also suitable for dishwashers.

The basic set includes a dinner fork, a dinner spoon, a dinner knife, and a teaspoon. Individual pieces or a complete service according to the Alain Saint-Joanis nomenclature can also be supplied upon request.
