What is GLAMPING?
Glamping is a combination of the words "glamorous" and "camping", and describes a style of unconventional camping in tents with luxury amenities.
The word “glamping” is new, but the concept of a palatial tent dates back to the 16th century, when some 2,800 tents with hand-painted canvas awnings and flowing red wine from fountains were erected for a diplomatic summit between Henry VIII and Francis I. Glamping was rediscovered by wealthy Americans and Britons in Africa in the early 20th century, who were looking for adventure on safari but were unwilling to sacrifice comfort and luxury. From electric generators to folding bathtubs and champagne, adventurers were given all the luxuries of home.
Glamping is a place that combines stunning nature with modern luxury. It's a way to experience untamed and completely unique parts of the world without having to sacrifice your comfort.
The way we travel has changed. We no longer want a catalog vacation that everyone can choose. We don't want one-size-fits-all experiences. We want to explore, discover new things, go beyond our borders. We want to immerse ourselves in the local culture, not just witness nature, but experience it. It's much more than a nice tent. Glamping is a way to authentically experience the most amazing places in the world.
Glamping is very trendy and its fans are increasing. You can find incredible destinations all over the world, each offering its own uniqueness. You can wake up in a yurt on a mountaintop, live in a tree in the middle of the forest or in an eco-lodge with incredible panoramic views.
Discover the charm of camping. Discover glamping. Become part of nature and keep your comfort.
